Description: Norwegian scientists discovered this alien in the arctic. Its true form is unknown, but its shape-shifting capabilities are unparalleled. It can actually absorb other life forms into its mass or control these forms from a distance, all working with one mind from a cellular level. The Thing gathered all of the biomass it had acquired into one enormous monster at one point, covered with snapping jaws, claws, and tentacles, combining features of all of the life forms it had absorbed on Earth and more.

Description: The Thing is difficult to completely destroy, as every cell must be obliterated. Fire will cause so much damage to it that it will stop moving, though the unaffected cells inside remain alive, and the creature will erupt at some point in the future. It can be frozen, and will remain in suspended animation indefinitely, waiting to be thawed. There could very well be a tiny one in your freezer!
